CROSSING OVER

19274062lighttunnelThe mystical might say that “Nobody gets out of here dead!” referring to planet earth.

So what happens when we die? The truth is we are all afraid of crossing over.

Crossing over fills some of us with terror. The word “death” has us shivering and shaking. The thought of losing those we love is even worse!

Jay Weidner

Jay Weidner talked about his documentary on crossing over on Coast to Coast radio. He told George Nooray that he made the film because he wanted to help others get over the fear of death. He was inspired to make, “Infinity: The Ultimate Trip” due to the death of his mother, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer and was terrified of dying.

In his film Jay talks with the High Priests of the Metaphysical. People like Dannion Brinkley who had a powerful Near Death Experience, (NDE) and wrote a book about it, and Gregg Braden, who is a spiritual teacher. They told him that we are all energy, that our physical body is an expression of that energy, which is eternal. That when we are crossing over, we move through a tunnel into another light filled dimension that could be defined as our true home.

Near Death Experiences

Small children who have had Near Death Experiences, (NDEs) talk about beautiful light beings that accompany them to heaven through a tunnel, and play with them in the other dimensions. They are too innocent to invent such tales, tales that bear a strong similarity to each other. It seems that all souls must speed through that tunnel on passing over.

People who have experienced NDE also describe the other dimensions, a place where we meet angels, and see visuals more beautiful than the most glorious landscapes on planet earth. Light beings teach us the secrets of life there. We might meet a Christ-like Spirit who fills our hearts with immense love, and tells us we must return to earth, because we have not yet fulfilled our mission. We go through a life review, and start to realise how every one of our actions in the good and the bad, has had an effect on the whole. We even choose what life we are going to live through when we return to this planet.

“Once we realise”, Jay says on Coast to Coast radio, “that there is no such thing as death, we will be liberated from the fear of passing over.” Jay believes that we have lost track of the truth and the fear of passing over demonstrates our fragile faith in fundamental spiritual laws.

His film explores all ideas on death throughout history, from reincarnation to the afterlife. He believes we must all face the moment of passing over in our own way. He stresses that “one of the main secrets of all, is that we are hyper dimensional beings and energies do not die, they only transform themselves”.

Jay studies the Puranas, an Ancient Sanskrit Hindu text where it is taught that humanity has been on this planet for approximately one million years and as a result of his studies he believes that we are all on a personal quest to understand the nature of the universe, in other words we are all souls incarnating time and time again.

Perhaps it is our duty to do our very best here. Perhaps crossing over means that we touch the highest dimensions of light, and really understand who we are, and what we did in the good and bad. Perhaps we are not judged for our life, but we judge ourselves for it.

If we know that we have really sought to treat others kindly, to be compassionate and loving, there is nothing to fear. Even if we learn how a cruel word affected another, it is never too late to be compassionate, and to make amends for the harm we could have caused. Love creates ease and joy, hate creates sadness and even horror. Surely it is not that difficult to chose our direction, and surely it is not so hard to believe that we will walk through Heaven’s Gates on passing over!
