DEAD FRIEND

A dead friend haunts our dreams, and we wake up in the morning, grieving. Our dead friend was one of the most valuable people in our lives and it is heartbreaking to realise that they are no longer with us. The unique alliance that we once had, now lost, weighs heavily on our hearts. So how can we overcome the grief at the loss of our friend, especially if we are not sure whether life after death is a reality?

Often, only when the reality of a dead friend hits us hard, do we change our perceptions and enquire about “life after death” When we seek to understand if the soul is really eternal our inner reservations about “infinity” can melt away. We start to take on board a spiritual view of life.

Rob and Anne Wlodarski discussed their latest book “Talking with the Dead” on Coast to Coast Radio. They told George Nooray that the line between life and death is finely drawn, and sometimes the victims of accidents remain at the scene because they have not realised they are dead yet!

Usually, though, we do move forwards at death, and our spirits detach from our bodies, speeding on through a long tunnel into a state of light, compassion and infinite blessings. However, if there is some element of our life that we just cannot let go of, we remain stuck in the physical reality, perhaps even lost in a multi dimensional existence where everything “seems” normal, but in reality we are living in a morphed universe.

Those who have been to the “other side” and returned, and there are thousands of these cases, talk about its powerful beauty; its light and its exquisite love. The experiences of love are so intense, that few who have passed on want to return to earth. Phrases such as “perception changes our reality” “Let your Self Be” “Love is everything, everything is Love” “Your soul is more powerful than your mind can comprehend” and “Peace comes when we release fear” are all words that emanated out of the mouths of those who had near death experiences.

Kyle Crafton

In 1988, Kyle Crafton underwent surgery to remove scar tissue from his left hand. Kyle was scheduled to be discharged from hospital the next day. But he was in such severe pain that he was given a shot of morphine to relieve it. The next thing he knew he was sitting on the end of the bed, he saw his wife looking at a body on the bed, his body. He then fixated on a light in the hallway, and enveloped in black, he saw a pinpoint of white light coming towards him. He was then completely “within” that beautiful light. And he realised that this light was also emanating out of him!

He said, “At the time I did not understand the intense warmth, I did not realise that the warmth was compassion.” The whole time this was happening he heard his wife’s voice constantly calling him, and he felt his wife’s fears and tensions as his own. And it was a painful experience to feel her worry.

The many who have experienced the intense love of God on the other side, say that the energy they feel is a tangible presence, and that as the light floods their “essence”, their whole being feels and sees angels, as well as the presence of those they love who have passed on and await them on the other side.

True Story

Ann lost her husband in an accident. She had a dream where she accompanied him to the door of heaven. When they got to the door it swung open and she saw her mother in law, who had passed on a few years previously, standing there, emanating a golden light, with open arms, ready to greet her husband as he walked through the door!

Even Richard Dawkins, an old style scientist, who does not openly believe in God, says that “the refusal to believe in anything that you cannot see yourself is absurd!”

All those who experienced Near Death Experiences saw their lives change forever. They became more spiritual and wanted to help this planet. So even if you do not believe in Near Death Experiences as real events, something occurs, something beautiful occurs to the human spirit when we leave this world. And many people vouch for this. So in a sense your dead friend might not be suffering the same loss as you are. May be because they are standing radiant in the light!
