Now listen up woman, do your spirits connect? In the sense, you just met a fabulous lady friend, she is so beautiful, so like you, and she reads you like a book. She is fun, easy to be with, a gas, a laugh!

So do your spirits connect? They do if you galvanize attention as you walk into a bar, restaurant or party together. But do your spirits connect because something awesome has actually happened in that you have both discovered you are magical, pure hearted Goddesses?

What is a modern day Goddess? She is beautiful just like you and yet she can be curvy, fat, thin, busty, flat chested, wide or narrow hipped and yes curly haired! She looks like Kate Moss, but also like the girl next door. She always has clear eyes; she always has a pure heart! May be because she is a gal who knows she deserves to be worshipped, a “woman unto other women” and she digs the loving tenderness and esoteric tendencies of the female spirit.

Your Goddess friend is “your friend of all friends”. She will listen as you sob like a baby because your loved one left you for another. She will bake cookies for your kids, and hold your hand when you go into hospital for a test, that if positive could shorten your life span.

Your spirits connect because she thinks like you do, because she is a goddess like you are. She is “Andromeda the wise” who susses out the workings of your soul. She is Venus, who shines with beauty as she binds hearts together. She leads the vulnerable away from danger like Brigid the fire Goddess and befriends animals like Diana the Goddess of the Wild. She is Freyja, who has faith in the stars. She is Inanna, the ultimate lover. She is Isis, mystery incarnate, close to all who suffer with heart breaking tenderness. She is Kali, the terrifying Goddess of Death, who knows that it is but a portal to life. She is Lakshmi the prosperous business woman who always gets the right deal. She is Tara the “all compassionate”, who leads us away from illusion. You invoke “the light” together; you always have done, even in those past times, when women were burnt at the stake for free thinking. You are brave because you still invoke peace on this earth. You light your candles, burn your incense and ring your bells dissipating the evil eye, disarming cruel “powers that be!”

Do your spirits connect? Oh yes they do, as perfectly as two halves of an apple, as the sun and the moon, as the male and the female, female and female, male and male. For you know that everything is one, nothing is ever excluded from a Goddesses’ heart.

You dress like Goddesses do, all chic in black, like the complicated Persephone of the underworld. You flow in pink like Venus, sweet in silk blouses. You like to go “casual” like Artemis, the goddess of hunting in jeans and a sweat shirt or Demeter smelling of lavender, attractive even in overalls, cooking tarts for her son’s birthday party, she loves all children, especially her own.

So in answer to “do your spirits connect?” Yes, and yes again. You are a woman, W-O-M-A-N; you can wash up, curl your hair, paint your finger nails, sweep the floor and chat on your mobile all at the same time. You do not hate other beautiful women you love them. You do not compete, you sustain. And if your man leaves you for another Goddess you might weep, yell, rant and rave, but you will never turn away from a woman in need of your help. Because you realize that now is time to recognize that miracle shinning in her eyes, “the miracle of beauty!”
