TAROT CARDS ON LINE

Tarot cards online can come in many shapes and sizes. In fact reading tarot cards on line can be “magically” educational. The tarot reader usually has a favourite deck that she has used for years and it is earmarked and tatty even, but she could have a couple of back up decks that she likes to dip into as per her client’s needs. One very popular card pack is the Sacred Circle Tarot, a Celtic Pagan Journey, by Anna Franklin, illustrated by Paul Mason that some have been using for a while and others turn to as a trusty back up that adds more intensity or Celtic magic to the reading.

The Sacred Circle Tarot cards have an original background, they were created by two empathic and in tune individuals whose energy emanates a sacred vibe into the cards themselves and perhaps that is why they are popular with empaths who read tarot cards online.

Anna Franklin describes the creation process of the cards in her book Sacred Circle Tarot. “Paul Mason and I attended the same art college in Coventry, in the British Midlands. Shortly after we had completed our degrees, we made our first attempt at designing tarot. This was to be a very different deck, based on collages of photographic images. However, lack of money and the sheer scale of the undertaking defeated us and the project was shelved for 15 years. Then Paul discovered that he could seamlessly combine photographic images on a computer and we resurrected the idea”.

Paul Mason

Paul Mason adds, “Our ambition was to produce a tarot that was rich in the Pagan and mythological iconography of the British Isles and Ireland using photography to give a level of naturalism and a sense of place that we felt was lacking in other cards. The tarot was produced using a combination of photographs, pencil drawings, colorized and enhanced by the computer and elements drawn and constructed directly in computer graphics applications”

British Pagan Tradition

“The cards are based on the teachings of the British Pagan Tradition. Central to that path is a relationship with the land in a real, not symbolic manner. We observe and celebrate the wheel of the seasons and become part of their ebb and flow. The spirits of the land – the Gods and Goddesses, the Wild folk, the animals and plants – are sought and honoured for their teachings”.

The Fool

In the Sacred Circle tarot, the Fool is depicted as the Green man, a laughing, mischievous wood entity, both instinctive and wild, yet beautiful and savage, an entity that teaches us all about our own instinctive nature and guides us to understanding the natural power of it in our life and every day actions. The Green Man tells us to wake up, to get going, to let go of rigid thought structures and be ready to open a new door of perception. He could be the very essence of the cards themselves.

The cards are essentially magical in nature, when an empath uses them as tarot cards online; she is contacting the truest and most spontaneous side of our nature. The side that knows it is indeed connected to ancient rituals, a side that remembers our ancestors and our roots and wants to return to the essential truth of who we once were and hopefully still are.

The cards in themselves interpret exactly what we need to know. They do not cut corners, or present flowery images of reality, in this way they become an empath’s finest tool. That is why they are so popular and beginners as well as professional readers love to use them frequently.

The Human Tarot

The Kings and Queens, the Empress and the Emperor, the human face of the tarot are alive, simply because they are photographs or real people. Perhaps an empath connects to them so deeply because they help her to unite the sacred and the worldly and give a realistic, yet spiritual perception of a client’s life style. These are sought after cards and we highly recommend them. They are a natural depiction of what we have perhaps forgotten, our primitive magical nature, far from the big cities, immersed in the wild woods and glades of England.
