So whatever happened on a remote ranch in Utah?

Skinwalker Ranch is located in West Utah County, USA. The ranch borders on an American Indian reservation that has a 50 year history of weird events which include mutilated cattle, UFOs, orbs, sightings of huge scary looking animals, and invisible objects that emanate destructive magnetic fields.

Coast to Coast radio described The Skinwalker Ranch as a paranormal case “par excellence!” Certainly, many famous psychics might still be inclined to scratch their heads at the idea of it! The fact is that as a result of severe cattle mutilations and continual scary phenomena, Mr and Mrs Sherman, owners of the ranch, would flee their home, and leave it in the hands of paranormal researchers.

Skinwalker Ranch Research

Three times Emmy award winning investigative journalist, George Knapp, travelled to Utah to report on the case, as did Colm Kelleher. Kelleher is a renowned scientist and author, with a 20 year history in biochemical research on cancer. These two highly qualified guys were so fascinated by the scary goings-on that they joined a National Institute for Discovery Science Investigation, which would be financed by a multi millionaire’s purchase of the ranch itself.

Famous Psychics

Perhaps famous psychics, healers and astrologers, like Russell Grant or Matthew Manning, could have unravelled at least some of Skinwalker Ranch’s horrors? Certainly, the presence of famous psychics might have alleviated the following events.

. A refrigerator shaped object appearing and disappearing.

. Blue, football shaped blue orbs that stimulated feelings of dread.

. Cattle mutilations.

. Shape shifting beings.

.Giant wolves, dog headed men smoking cigarettes, big foot-like creatures that looked like the Sasquatch man.

. Immense orange doors in the sky, that opened up to other world’s.

. Poltergeist activities.

. Aquatic serpents in the lake, said to have caused some deaths.

. Strange sounds and voices that seemed to be calling out of thin air.

. Odd holes in the ground.

. Shadowy beings.

. Flying objects.

. A strong smell of sulphur.

This is a long list for even famous psychics to suss out, and perhaps it would leave them scratching their heads!

The Gormans lived at the ranch, and are still a farming family. At the time, Mr Gorman was a rancher who specialised in the artificial insemination of highly bred cattle. He and his family had come to Utah to get away from the rat race! They moved into the property in 1994, but very soon after things got odd!

Skinwalker Ranch Strange Events

When they first arrived at the farm, a wolf-like creature appeared. It was the size of a pony and snapped up one of their calves right in front of their eyes. Mr Gorman repeatedly fired a 357 magnum handgun at the creature, at the third shot the giant wolf let go of the calf, totally unharmed. Mr Gorman was an expert gun handler, and knew how to fire guns. The wolf showed no signs of wounding.

The Gorman family were very perturbed, but calmed down when neighbours told them they too had seen huge wolves in the hills and forests. Within a few weeks Mrs Gorman would get out of the car to lock the farm gate, and see another wolf the size of a small pony that again, was both tame and bullet proof!

The Gormans would then suffer months of terrifying paranormal activities. They lost cattle through mutilation, death and disappearance. They suffered terrifying poltergeist incidents, saw UFOs and menacing beings. Domestic objects appeared and disappeared. One day Tom Gorman noticed a blue orb that was moving close to the ground. His dogs started barking. Gorman set them on to the orb, but later was to hear terrifying yelps from the animals in a dense woodland thicket. Getting his courage together to investigate, he found what looked like the black and messy remains of his dogs. At that point, the family, were so upset that they wanted out, and decided to move on. At that point Robert Biggalow, the aforementioned millionaire came into the picture, and bought the ranch for paranormal investigations.

Some believe the Skinwater Ranch was a hoax. Others, namely local Native Americans, still believe the area is cursed land, where the dreaded Skinwalkers still walk. The Skinwalkers are the ghosts of evil witch doctors, or sorcerers, capable of shape shifting. The Native Americans continue to advise all their people to avoid the land.

Investigations have never proved anything. Photographs of objects would appear on camera but moved so fast it was hard to assess them when film was printed. There is still a dark curtain drawn over the investigation. Perhaps the only answer is to call in Russell Grant and Matthew Manning to sort the whole mess out!
